Default How long before Ohbama

1) Doesn't support a tax cut for 95% of the people? Bush messed up the economy so much that I just can't support that now. BTW........if your payroll tax increases, is that a tax cut?

2) Won't pull out of Iraq within 6 months? The situation on the ground has changed so much, because of Bush, that we can't go forward with the pullback at this time.

3) Ohbama stands side by side with Reverent Wright again.

I say they happen within the first few months of his presidency.

What say you?

I agree on both counts. The federal budget is nearing China Syndrome status, any new initiatives will be slow coming, and tax cuts will be modest if at all. That's reality no matter who is elected. McCain's mantra of "tax cuts, tax cuts" is poison, pure & simple, but I don't blame him because we're in election mode. (Wonder why neither came out forcefully for the bailout package? Too much political risk, horrific time for sticking one's neck out.)

Iraq - he'll accelerate a pullout, force the Iraqis to start paying for more things themselves, but I agree the timetable won't be as aggressive as many on the left would like. Colin Powell likely has some wisdom & insight that would be valuable as input in making this kind of decision.

As is McCain. It's called election mode. Remember Orrin Hatch's promise to only serve two terms?

Term limits for ALL politicians would suit me well. 2 terms for President. 2 Terms for senator. 4 or 5 terms for a representative.

For all those idiots who want change, they continue to vote for their congressman.
