Default The Great Appeaser, the Teaser, Obama

He's mighty thin-skinned about his foreign policy weakness.

Poor, poor Democrats.

What are appeasers to do when it's pointed out that they are appeasers?

Better to remain quiet and be thought an appeaser, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Cool

President Bush: (Paraphrased) "Terrorist-friendly world leaders are naive."

Barack Hussein: (Paraphrased) "How dare President Bush call me naive!"

President Bush: (Paraphrased) "I never mentioned your name, or even the Democratic party..."

Another Obama oops!

Here's the funny thing - Bush "appeased" not just Khadafy, he appeased Kim Jong Il.

But let's bypass "appeasement" for a second.

What about our brave non-appeasement - Iraq?

Bottom line, I don't trust Democrats on issues of foreign policy, as many believe they are willing to trade expediency for our best interests. That's not to say Reps don't often do the same, but I can't name the foreign policy of any Democrat in history which I have respected. There are foreign policies of Republicans I've despised, such as Bush Jr.'s, but Obama has not articulate an inspiring foreign policy doctrine.

Since when is talking to a foreign leader "appeasement?" You Republicans are so quick with your pejorative labels that you frequently forget to actually look up the meaning of the term you use prior to using it.

Yawn.

If you think talking to terrorists will do any good, well, you're foolish.

And yes, I know the definition of appeasement. That's why I used it. Would you have preferred ass-kisser?

Spare me the condescension.

It appears, like "socialism," I will need to refer you to the dictionary again.

Appeasement doesn't mean "talking to bad guys." The most applicable definition is:

"to yield or concede to the belligerent demands of (a nation, group, person, etc.) in a conciliatory effort, sometimes at the expense of justice or other principles."

Talking to a group isn't "yielding or conceding to the belligerent demands of a nation in a conciliatory effort. If he were to talk and then cave in to their demands, whatever they may be, THAT would be appeasement. If talking alone is appeasement, then Reagan was the Great Appeaser.

And why should we NOT believe Dems will simply not appease terrorists? What can instill faith in their good will?
