Default The next president according to Intrade

From the market at Intrade, here are the probabilities as of this morning (2/20/08):

P(Obama) = 0.54
P(McCain) = 0.35
P(Clinton) = 0.11

I would then put the probably of BYU71 moving his investments to cash by the end of the year at 54%.

I would just spend it all on wine, women and song because with Obama or Hillary all our troubles are over. Free health care, free college, lower taxes (unless your rich) basically we will be taken care of from cradle to grave.

Speaking of free college, I understand that Stanford is now moving to tuition being "free" for families who make less than ~100k. They have to do work study and stuff like that, but who would turn down Stanford for free, compared to a public university which isn't.

Suddenly BYU is expensive. Maybe Obama can take care of that.

TMQ or Gregg Easterbrook always rails on the ivies about costing so much for college when their endowment is something like 30 billion. I imagine most of the top tier private schools will go this route

I take it you are implying that BYU is not a top tier private school.
