Cali Coug has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Default So the big recruits have come and gone.

Anyone know if there have been any commitments yet to take up the last 2 scholarships? Anyone know which players are struggling academically who might not ever get a scholarship?

Any truth to the rumor Te'o is wavering? Any plans by Bronco to let him play safety at BYU (since that appears to be his only concern with BYU right now)?

Word is Te'o is not wavering at all. He reconfirmed his commitment to Bronco yesterday. He is closely related to Coach Anae, and that coupled with his parents desire for him to play for BYU is what is driving this commitment. Not his buddies who are trying to talk him into playing for the U.

Word has it that Kaveinga told UCLA and USC goodbye. He has committed to BYU
Also word has it that Chambers committed as well. If what I have heard is legit. Getting Kaveinga and Chambers is huge for BYU. Chambers was recruited by Florida, South Carolina, Maryland, Mississippi State and Purdue.

Only reason BYU was on his radar was due to his HS Coach being a former Cougar.

Even with Te'o reaffirming his commitment to Bronco yesterday, he will likely still visit Utah and the BYU coaches are aware of it and have in fact, encouraged him to do so.

*EDIT*...nevermind as it seems the story is changing by the minute and the Te'o family is very upset about blog article that Jay Drew posted in the Tribune a day before his official visit. Word is he's still solidly committed to BYU.

Just a guess, but I bet it was key for Chambers' mother to come along. BYU is a wholesome atmosphere, even if not very diverse. If the parents buy in, that's at least half the battle.

Mike Huckabee. Or possibly Kyle Whittingham. Although I can't confirm.
