Default The defense was a disaster this year

Jan J. didn't seem to be as big a factor as I thought he would be.

That Nixon had one sack coming into the bowl game this season is a stunning statistic.

Sure, there were personnel problems and a lack of talent esp. at LB and secondary.

But man, if they weren't the most predictable, easily-read defense I have seen....

X's and O's my friend, try fooling people once in a while, try keeping people off-balance.

It never felt like this was a defense with its ears pinned back. It always felt like they were on their heels waiting for something bad to happen.

The execution has to go beyond individual players--it has to go with COACHES who come up with SCHEMES and GAMEPLANS. Big question marks as to the job that Bronco and Hill did with this defense.
