Peter Carroll = Gary Crowton?
The USC football team is in the parking lot of the Valley River Inn in Eugene, OR running through some plays. And this is 4 hours prior to their game with Oregon State. It appears they just flew in to Eugene for the game tonight in Corvallis.
Let's hope they have the same results as Crowton had. Go Beavs!

Don't worry. Peter Carroll will have his team ready.
He may not have Reginald Bush nor Matthew Leinart anymore, but he has a decent team this year. Fight on!

For some reason that post cracked me up. Good job, Triplet Father.

Has a nice 3-4 pager on SC, including more detail of their pre-game rituals at the downtown Marriott. People taking of their shirts and pounding their chests, players doing MMA moves on each other to get pumped up, etc. And Rey's War Time chant. Maurice Simmons....whoops!

USC was not taking this game seriously.

Other observations: 1) Stadium was NOT sold out. 2) Fans around me were very very vulgar. Yelling things I had not heard since high school days. Worst was a lady behind me. At half time I put on my BYU cap. One guy even apologized. I said, no problem, I hear similar things on Cougarguard. 3) Rodgers is unbelievable. USC overpursued and thus gave #1 plenty of opps to gain yardage. 4) OSU was pumped from the beginning. 5) BYU replay personnel could learn some lessons from the lowly OSU replay officians. They actually showed replays more than once. 6) Loud. 7) People looked like they were dressed as pumpkins on Halloween night. Impressed that almost everyone wore orange, regardless of how horrendous it looks. 8) Loud. No one sat down for 3 1/2 hours. 9) One USC couple sitting in front of me. Guy looked like Pete Carroll's brother, Jim. They left their seats at half-time. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon/evening.
