If I were Hill, I'd be increasing Whit's contract so that he doesn't depart to an SEC team.

I understand what you're saying, but he needs to keep the team focused on the game at hand simply because they've taken the one-game-at-a-time approach all season.

Last year's disaster at UNLV the week after walloping UCLA should be a reminder to never take a game lightly.

I doubt KW would pull a Meyer. Just like I doubt Mendenhall would leave Provo.

But I would consider giving him a substantial raise based on job performance.

He's already getting one (due to 10 win clause in his contract). Not to mention if they go to a bcs game.

This year, I'm more impressed with Whit so far, he had his team prepared for TCU, Bronco didn't.

I'd say that 9-1 is nothing to scoff at.

The difference is that Utah has the athletes to compete with TCU.
