Is Clemens really going to battle these allegations?
Is he going to file a slander suit against his former trainer?
My prediction: he will have a press conference in which he protests his innocence. His people will attack the trainer (they've already called him "troubled"). And then Clemens prays that people believe him. He must have not taken the ethics course when he was a UT Longhorn. |

Don't know why anyone would think an old man who looks like this used steroids.

Yankee haters (though I don't really care about baseball, I am a nominal Yankee hater) have something to hang their hat on:

Here is my question: Will Clemens get a pass (relative to Barry Bonds) because he is white and more personable?

Clemens will continue to deny and basically be elevated to Bonds's most recent status....that is, a known liar and cheat

Soon he'll be touring the country with Floyd Landis, raising money for his defense fund. It amazes me how long these guys will hang onto a lie. I have far more respect for a guy like Giambi who admits it and gets on with his life.
