Default Packing Tips? Suggestions?

I'm packing for a 3 week biz trip to Denver.....I've NO idea as I've never packed for this long before and I've a feeling I've already packed way too much stuff.

I'm staying at a Coutyard Marriot in a suburb of Denver, so they will have laundry facilities.

Any hints? Tips? Suggestions?

Pack the toilet paper last.

I'll just use pages from the 4 books I'm bringing along.

I'm bringing:

The Stand - Stephen King
The Husband - Dean Koontz
To Kill A Mockingbird - Harper Lee
David O. McKay and The Rise of Modern Mormonism.

Should I suddenly have a severe case of the runs I think I'm covered.

Nice. You could also take War and Peace and you'll have more than you could ever need.

Seriously though - I'm a freak about packing and planning in advance.

For a business trip that long, I'd take whatever suits, slacks, sports jackets you can that can be mixed and matched so you don't just where the same things. It serves two purposes:

You don't have to take as much business clothing.

You can wear something different just about every day. I believe in the "dress for success" way of life when it comes to work. And if you own enough ties to wear a different one each day you're there, that's a good thing.

When you're done for the day, change out of the business attire and hang it up immediately. And rather than using laundry facilities, I'd suggest a dry cleaner if you can find one very close. It seems the cost is about the same.

I put one pair of rolled socks into each shoe I pack. It saves a little bit of space. I also pack clothing items according to weight - lightest first and heaviest last - so the jeans will push down on golf shirts, under garments, etc. so everything is, for lack of a better word, flattened so the case will hold more and close easier.

Finally - and this is obvious - only take as much as you can carry. No need to take 8 different cases.
