Default Every session I inquire

but it still boggles my mind that it takes so long for the texts to be placed onto the Church website.

It doesn't make sense. I have covered GC for the Daily Universe and media receives the text upon check in. How long could it really take to get it posted online after that?

Why aren't we leading the way for technology on this?

We could have email blasts to members of the texts prior to the talk being given, and we could then be even more prepared. It would make conference avant garde instead of yesterday's news.

Wouldn't that be cool if you could order the conference talk in advance, read along with the speaker?

I think they want people to feel like they need to watch it live if possible. I'm guessing that they feel if they make them available immediately, many won't watch conference. Just a guess though.

The MP3s are made immediately available. The Saturday clips were ready Sunday morning. I'd say that's pretty good service.

Likely the talks have to be cross-checked with what was actually spoken and adjustments made before it's actually published. It'll be online before the end of the week ... quit whining.

So? Why is it so pertinent that it be watched live as opposed to digested?

I personally do better with the written word than with the spoken word.

Not saying I'm correct, just hazarding a guess. You've been in the church long enough to know that they'd prefer you watch it live if you can. I suppose it's evidence of commitment.
