Have the Lobos every won a significant out of conference game? They have won some games in conference, but can the conference ever count on the Lobos to win anything else?

Losing to the Spartans is embarrassing.

In 2004 New Mexico beat Texas Tech 27 to 24. Texas Tech ended the year ranked 18th in the AP poll. Texas Tech was unranked at the time they played so I doubt anyody thought of it as a big win at the time they played but in retrospect I think it was a pretty significant out of conference win.
