Default Miles article

http://www.heraldextra.com/index.php...temid=99999999

Good article. Good to see Miles back in the fold.

But if you think he or Vuk will start at the 5 and Plaisted at the 4, I'm sorry you're wrong. Plaisted is not a college 4, especially in a Rose system.

Plaisted
JT
Lee
Burgess or Jimmer or JC transfer
Murdock or new frosh point from Vegas

Miles' stat line from his freshman year:

2.7 ppg 2.3 rpg 13.6 mpg.

I remembered him doing more. I'm a little disappointed. I looked at the game stats, looks like he only scored in double figures once, against Santa Clara. I guess we don't really need that much scoring from him this year, anyway. As long as he plays good defense and stomps on one or two Utes.

From the same article, but unrelated:

Wow. How bad has Serbia gotten. They used to be a world basketball power, now Vuc Ivanovic is on their national team?

Miles showed flashes of potential his frosh year, but mostly on defense. His offense was very raw. His shooting percentage was about as bad as you can find for a big man. I think he'll contribute just not as a starter this year.

Yes, but there's 32, yes...count em' 32 players invited to try out and be a part of the Serbian National team so take it with a grain of salt.

My brother thinks highly of Miles. He was in Astoria with him during the "basketball ban."
