BYU finishes 14 in both the AP and the coaches poll
Pretty impressive, a few other notables:
USC finished 2nd in the coaches and 3rd in the AP. Georgia finished 3rd in the coaches and 2nd in the AP. Hawaii finished 17th and 19th Michigan after that disastrous start finished 18th and 19th. Utah finished 32nd and 38th.

I am shocked that you think BYU is worse than 14. You are usually so optimistic.

I would imagine that our final ranking of #14 - should be about the highest we will start out ranked next year going into the season. I would imagine that we will be somewhere between 16-14ish range.
With everyone coming back on offense...losing some defense...but, knowing how Bronco plugged the holes on offense won't be as difficult to plug the gaps on defense. BYU should start out looking very good in the preseason polls next year.

Wow, that's the highest I thought they could possibly achieve. Very nice.

http://blog.washingtonpost.com/dcspo...a_are_bet.html They had BYU at 10th in their final poll. Why are you always so anti-BYU everything? |

I agree this is basically best-case for us. It seems like nobody noticed the score of our bowl game, since 14 is what I would have guessed had we won convincingly. Good times, I suppose. Hopefully that'll leave us in the top 20 next year, and more importantly, hopefully we can win some non-conference games next year.
