Mormon Zionism
I hope we take a note from the Israelis, and avoid their example 100%.
Or rather, perhaps the Jewish Zionists should have taken a look at how Mormons reacted to their situation, in search of their homeland. How many Missourians must be killed and displaced, including women and children, for us to prepare a place for the Savior to return? It sounds nonsensical and absurd doesn't it. For us to kill and displace to build a temple and home. Yet it's all too real in today's world. |

Holy hell, how many tangential permutations can you crank out on this topic? Actually, I don't really want an answer to that question.
As far as killing Missourians to reclaim the New Jerusalem, there are quotes from 19th century apostles (and BY?) about how some catastrophic event will depopulate that area which will open the way for the Saints to return. Do I accept that as fact? Not necessarily. Last edited by Indy Coug; 05-27-2008 at 02:25 PM. |

Shining light on evil is never easy to stomach. I suggest you stick to the sports forums today. Work on a graph.

When I oppress millions and rob them of dignity and human rights for several decades, let me know. Because some things slip my mind while I am developing nuclear weapons, collaborating with the all-white South African govt., and sucking all the water out of the West Bank.

I doubt enough Mormons truly believe in Missouri's end of days relevance to kill for it.

The spirit has whispered to you. Though flickering, hidden in a dusty and dark cavern, you still maintain the light.
