MikeWaters is an unknown quantity at this point
Default I was lights out shooting today

It was fun. The basket was very large today.

I was about 25 feet out, my defender was off me by 3 feet or so. I hit it. Then a couple minutes later, same place. Defender 3 feet off me. I hit it. Third time I got the ball at that place, defender was right on me.

One of the YM in my ward said he and his buddy have decided to call me JJ Barrera. The guy on the Mavs. Of course, I haven't watched NBA in forever, and Barrera was the guy on the pine, so I didn't know if that was a compliment or an insult. He says "You jump like JJ."

The Bishop came out to our regionial tournament (we finished 2nd, losing by 3 in the championship). I didn't shoot much, didn't score much. But the Bishop, twice when he was around me, in the presence of others says, "this guy proves the notion false that white men can't jump!" I guess that is a compliment. Except that I don't know that I would exactly call myself white!

As far as I am concerned, white men STILL can't jump.

I'm really grateful for my health. A lot of basketball, not a lot of injuries. At my old age, I can still jump and bang a little. Hopefully I can one day be that old guy that people are amazed can still do a few things. We shall see.
