The stage yesterday was the slowest stage in nine years at 22.3 mph. If we break 5 hours at ULCER we will need to better that speed. We've got one month to get ready so ride long and fast everybody.

WHy do you think that happened? The slow stage that is? I have a personal theory which is related to efforts to clean up the peloton, but I am curious what you think. I thought it was very notriceable and hearkened back to days gone by.
