Paul H. Dunn (hands down no. 1) Donny & Marie Bruce R. McConkie Lex de Azevedo Lavelle Edwards Hugh Nibley I'm sure creekster will confirm. Speaks volumes, doesn't it?

Which begs the Question, who are the LDS superstars of today?
I'd say, a rising star is Mitt Romney, Steve Young's star is falling but still there, GBH, Armand Mauss, Others? Marriotts? Huntsmans?

Gladys Knight and Jon Heder in the entertainment world.
I don't think there is anybody in the sports world with sufficient stature to qualify as a superstar. You're probably right about Steve Young, but he's not making the news these days rather he is talking about it on TV. Harry Reid plays a cool role as an LDS villain. He's a strong member, highly visible, and he talks in a General Authority voice, but a good portion of the LDS faithful can't stand him. |
