PAC-16 would be the nightmare scenario for BYU. More power in the hands of BYU-haters, BYU permanently left out of all BCS conferences.

The Pac-16 would be awful. It would essentially be the original Pac-8 in the western division, with the eastern division composed of the four expansion schools plus the four newbies, presumably Big 12 castaways.

Arizona
Arizona State Utah Colorado Oklahoma Oklahoma St. Texas Texas Tech Honestly, I think Utah could not compete against OU and UT on a year-in, year-out basis. Nebraska couldn't. How could Utah? Same could probably be said of BYU, but BYU has a different recruiting base. |
