I've heard people question why gay men act like fairies
The argument is, if same-gender attraction is genetic, and if men are attracted to the male physique, why do they act so feminine around one another?
The other night at dinner, in a restaurant full of straight couples, it occured to me that the whole lot of straight men there were pretty much acting the same way while trying to impress their women. Wildly laughing at whatever the women said, exaggerated smiles from cheek to cheek, pretending to look completely entertained by the conversation. Some were wearing cutesy matching outfits. I think one just came from a spa mud bath with his sweetie. You could say the scene was pretty fairy-like. |

my theory is there is a man and woman in every relationship, including gay relationships. especially true for lesbians.

It was a location that predominately entertains the younger singles. Mostly San Diego twentysomethings. A true date environment; not taking out the old ball and chain because I have to. Although most men probably do just want to eat the steak and go home and watch sports, first they have to slap on the fairy-like facade during the courtship stage in order to even get to the steak-and-shutup stage.

Well, we are glad you posted that rather than just ignoring the thread, as some of us were lacking direction.
