Aw, man. Now I've got to cancel my watch party.

Us folks in the Mid-South will not be happy with this. At least send us Palin as a conselation prize.

It is anticipated that more people will tune in for the VP forum than for the Presidential debate. Of course, slating the debate for a Friday night doesn't really help ratings, I should think.

well, honestly, McCain in HD on a ten foot screen? That's no party any way you look at it. (Assuming you look at all, which I can't say I recommend.)

This is an interesting campaign stunt. "This is once-in-a-lifetime crisis. I'm going back to Washington to work on it." "What's that you say? My opponent wants to put down the good work of the people for more politics as usual and debates. Fine, I'll go, but it is not my first choice." McCain gets some headlines for a news cycle. It is original; I've never heard of this one before.
