Yeah, that's a big loss for them, but they knew it was coming. Apparently his cancer has racked up large bills for him. He seems like a great guy and I hope he makes his way back on to the radio.

I never was a fan of him, but I hate to see him leave under these circumstances.

He may be trying to leave something for his family after he dies.

I don't know the details. I'm sure he's not opening up his finances for the world to examine. It's just what I've heard discussed on the radio.

Maybe he'll move to Cuba for treatment.

tell that to the guys in Iraq and Afghanistan. "Tony Snow had to resign his 160k job because he wants his family to be more secure in case he dies."

I have no problem with it. But I don't know how medical bills have anything to do with it.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.
