Actually, if you like Magic Numbers, you may want to check out a band called "Clap Your Hands Say Yeah."

Also, a band called "Im From Barcelona." You can check them out on youtube, I think. one of their catchiest singles is "We're From Barcelona." Also, "Collection of Stamps"

Clap Your Hands Say Yeah is a fun band. I like their first album better than their second. "Skin of my Yellow Country Teeth," "Is this Love," and "Upon this Tidal Wave" are all pretty decent songs.

Start with their first disc (self titled) then go to their second disc.

The ones YOhio suggests are good ones to start with.

Also, one of my faves from the first disc is called Over and Over Again. It has an early Talking Heads vibe to it, even down to the faux-David Byrne vocals.

Unfortunately, no I was not blessed to live in Idaho. If you have a cousin who was born and raised in SoCal and currently lives in South County, then we may be related. Your cousin has triplets I take it? Or just impeccable taste in music?

Another cool band you may like, although we are now WAY off the Magic Numbers path.....

A Canadian balled called the Unicorns put out an excellent disc a few years ago called Who Will Cut Our Hair When We are Gone?

As a post-Unicorns side project, the band "Islands" was born. I love this Islands single...."Dont Call me Whitney, Bobby."
