Away games
Our two away games have delivered lackluster performances. Anybody else concerned about our away games this year?

We should push to play more of our away games on "neutral fields."
Apparently we beat teams like Ohio State when we play on these "neutral fields."

After 5 games, I don't know how 5 wins can be any better.
Washington is just bad, but doesn't USU historically give BYU problems? You're worrying too much, Archaea. There are other things that are worse going on, like the idiotic bailout by our knuckleheaded leaders in DC.

I've said it before: the further the team gets from Provo, the thinner the magic becomes.
Logan: smaller win than expected; fail to cover Seattle: 1 point win Las Vegas: 1 point win Los Angeles: loss Tucson: loss Tulsa: loss Boston: loss |

Smart alec. We have played the Ohio State three times, and have lost all three times, being the only team as Paul James was wont to say, which BYU has played three times without a victory.

It never will as long as the UTES are the best team we have to play.

The past 2 years on the road playing Mtn. West teams has not been to bad for BYU.

Thing is, we really have lousy sample to judge on. There were SO many factors involved in the UW game it's hard to take anything conclusive out of it. Same goes for the USU game. I don't know if BYU had the same reaction to playing an obviously outclassed team as I did, but I (and my teammates) didn't react well when put in that situation. I was playing church ball on a team that won stake (Young mens). One week, we played the "B" team from another ward (ward had two teams, they stuck all the good players on one & all the lousy players on the other - they had not a player over 6', and most were closer to 5). We didn't even play our best 8 guys in the first half. The score at the end of the half was seriously 6-4. When the starters got to play in the second half, it was REALLY tough to play very hard. Especially after halfway through the third it was 40-4.
