Did my pre-father’s day triathlon.

- three hours of volleyball in the early morning.
- 18 holes of golf starting in the late morning.
- now off for a quick 15 mile ride.

But not hot here - 68 and partly cloudy.

So... how did you like the new mountain bike? And what trails did you ride?

Had my first good peck today. Came down a hill and hit a standing-water-muddy-flat section. Got sideways in it, after making the decision to try and power through it. Lost my balance, became fully dislodged from by bike and fully lodged in a blackberry bush. "What a wonderful sensation on my legs and fingers", I thought to myself. The trail was empty, no one saw me being a newb. It was still a fun ride and good workout.

well we woke up this morning and were going to do the dog lake trail up millcreek, but it was closed. we went over and did the... i'm not sure what it is called... the bonneville shoreline? something like that.. it was really fun, much different than road riding. i loved it though, however it wasn't very scenic. then tonight we drove up to park city and i hooked up the buggy and we just rode around for a couple hours.. i'm mostly glad this is something i can do with my wife. i'm excited to go out again, and hopefully check out some more scenic stuff.

and as far as the bike goes... i think it's great for what i want to do. no complaints.
