My stereo CD player is broken
I gave it a good thump due to is disobedient ways, and it decided to give up the ghost.
Considering most of my library is no longer on CD's but on harddrives, I'm trying to think of what the best solution is. I don't want to buy another Ipod. I want something cheap that will play MP3s. And maybe CD's too. Anyone know of a good solution. And I don't want to have to run my desktop to funnel music wirelessly. |

In my den I have a tv and dvd player hooked up to my stereo system - kind of a poor man's way to do surround sound. It's an Apex AD1150 DVD player that is a combo DVD/CD/mp3 player. It cost me $40 at Circuit City a year ago.
I just put a CD into it, turn on the tv and can listen to it that way. The only other suggestion I could give you is to find a portable mp3 player that could be connected to your stereo system.
