I love how ColoSpgs tries to play it off as a joke while others are arguing for the morality of the point in all seriousness.

Many of the posts can accurately be described as "bloodthirsty."

On the same thread I get harangued for suggesting that Marines may not be the most godly people on the earth (which might be the truest thing I have ever written on a message board). And what is the criticism? That I have no sense of humor. Now that is laughable.

You're correct. I belive the priorities for the Marines are, in order:

Corps
Country
God

You don't have a sense of humor? From that board, that is a compliment.

I saw that. The "you don't have a sense of humor" line is a cop out for when you, as a sane person, have noticed that they are behaving like wild-eyed crazies.
