Default SLTrib: Whittingham turns down TN job

That's cool. That's good for the MWC. Two MWC coaches have now turned down that job.

It's gotta be nuclear at this point. I'm betting there is NCAA stuff that is going to emerge and coaches don't want to be a part of it until the dust settle.

How funny even Duke's coach has turned the job down. They are desperate at this point (I can't believe they even offered Duke's coach).

Now they hire La. Tech's coach? Ha! That's the best Tennessee could do? Volunteer fans must be going crazy with this hire. 2 weeks before signing day and they hire the La. Tech coach. Unreal. The dude was 17-20 at La Tech, for crying out loud.
