Default US Airways flight went down in Hudson River

Looks like the tail section is still above water.

Air is cold. Water is cold. Plane surrounded by boats and ferries. Life jackets thrown in water. Haven't heard about any people escaping from the plane.

The plane is sinking. This looks bad.

Jeez Mike we've come a long way since the Titanic. That was 11 years ago. Of course everyone survived. (btw, contrary to popular belief, Jack survived and he and Rose live in suburban Connecticut).

It's not looking good for the plane.

How lucky could they have been?

Here's a report on the pilot.

He was the last one out of the plane. Honor. Duty.
