I kind of liked 3. Swap it out with The Thin Red Line and your list is solid.

I expect this type of list from T-Blue; but you disappoint me, CaliCoug.

Sense and Sensibility is a great film; I've watched it several times. The acting is superb, and the source material -- well, it doesn't get any better. Adaptations of Jane Austen novels have been very good, and they're one of the redeeming qualities of cinema of the past 15 years.

I'm currently reading Emma and enjoying it immensely.

Before any of you fellas start your taunting, I guarantee I have the hottest wife of any man here, so go back to your insecure little holes where they blow up lots of things.

Sometimes one scene can make an entire movie. Even if the rest of the movie was crap, the last scene would be worth it. Amazing scene. Second to last also great scene. Though it started a little slow, There will be blood was great film start to finish.

I have also watched Sense and Sensibility multiple times. I continue to fall asleep each time and have to restart it to try and get through it once. Over one thousand attempts; not one full viewing yet. I can't imagine a worse movie or book (other than anything else Jane Austin ever wrote).

We agree about Austen. Extremely boring books. so much so that I passed on Sense and Sensibility on film.

FWIW. the Bronte sisters are just as boring.
