Help!
Surfah and I are moving from SLC to Virginia, we have done some searching and get the impression that having someone move us (after we pack ourselves) might be at least 500$ cheaper than U-hauling everything and our new vehicle. Does anyone have any recommendations for affordable quality moving services, or even just ideas of services to help us manage the dollar and stress issue at once? Your prompt replies would be appreciated, thanks.

We did ABF with our move to Dallas and were pleased. Basically, you pack it and load it into their semi and then they drive it out for you.

When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith. |

In January I moved from California to Tennessee. The Penske truck was $1200 for a week, and gas was about $750, back when it was $3.60 per gallon. I don't know how that compares to a professional service. My new Elders Quorum had a crew of 6 unload the truck for free of course.

We did ABF, too and were happy with it. Our stuff got here in one piece and it was fairly convenient if not stress-free (Mr. Funk and Mr. Funk's dad had not yet finished loading up the trailer forty-five minutes before our wedding reception).

We have been thinking ABF, seems like a trust-worthy company, and cheaper than U-haul, and less stressful since they drive for you, we are still unsure so keep the ideas coming . . . . thanks all
