OT: It's crazy that Fishburne was only 14 when he was in AN. I bet he had to choose between more than one blue and red pills back then...

The funniest part of that article was the bit about Gary Coleman and his 22 year-old wife doing Divorce Court. I love this quote:

Price also complains that Coleman has no friends and inexplicably disappears from home in the middle of the night.

It reminded me of that Southpark episode when Butters' dad would always mysteriously disappear, and one night Butters follows him to a gay bath house. Are there gay bath houses in Santaquin?

Wait, the Coleman tv divorce isn't why Santos provided a link? That was the only thing I noticed.

Report:

The first half was lame. They filled it with tons of filler and intro's and exits to commercials that we only got about 8 minutes of actual court room drama. Most of the info that came out has been previously known.

highlights:
  • Gary Coleman has a terrible temper. Is violent. Smashes his head into the wall regularly during arguments.
  • GC's wife has terribly bad teeth and is a bit immature.
  • GC does not want kids, told his wife that before they were dating, and feels pressured now to have kids. He said he hated kids even when he was a kid.
  • GC regularly sneaks out of the house at 3 am. No one knows what he's doing and I doubt there's much to do in Santaquin at 3am.
  • GC still refuses to do the "Whatchu talkin about Willis?"
  • GC feels major financial pressure to take care of his wife and give her the finer things in life, but is unable to do so, despite the low cost of housing in Santaquin.
  • Teaser from today's episode: judge asks point blank if they've had sex and consumated the marriage. We know from previous interview that they have not and that GC is in fact a 40 yo virgin.
Today's episode should be better.

My theory: GC is unable to have sex due to health issues and that is largely to blame for his general grouchiness in life. Either that or the first time he was making out and getting hot and heavy with a girl, she begged him to do the "whatchu talkin about willis?!" and that turned him off to sex for life.

Wow. Sometimes life is stranger than fiction.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.
