Did you hear him on Mike and Mike the other day? "I, um, have never, um, to the best of my knowledge me or I or my people haven't spoken with Michigan, yet." |

I would love for that to happen. Miles has been so out and about of how he is the coach of LSU and that he will continue to do so...and if he goes to Michigan, that would be funny stuff.
Yes, he is in a difficult situation. But I would answer it this way: The Michigan job is a great opportunity for someone. I am the coach of LSU and I look forward to leading my team into our bowl game. That way he doesn't look like a fool for taking the Michigan job when he spilled out all of that righteous anger earlier about staying at LSU. |

I think it would be very amusing to watch the meltdown in Baton Rouge if Miles were to bolt to another team and leave the fans feeling used like an innocent young girl on prom night when she found out that the star QB had no interest in her as a person, but just wanted to get in her panties to satisfy his insatiable lust for date rape.
Just like what Meyer did to Utah and Bowling Green.

At least you are man enough to admit this. I find it hilarious those Ute fans who still have the need to defend Urban with all their heart and soul. It is like if they are still nice enough to the star QB, someday he may come back to them. On the other hand, were it not for the QB taking them to prom, nobody would know who they were... so I guess you take the good with the bad.

According to one message board I read, Bill Martin Michigans AD, said that Miles is done, and he is interviewing other candidates. It looks like Brian Kelly the HC from Cincinatti is now the front runner.

BYU may never get into a BCS conference, but a guy like Mendenhall may not leave for a bigger name because he has perspective of where football belongs on the list of things that are important.
