You heard it here first. BYU wins by 10 or more, (I actually think 14, but would get accused of being a homer if I said that).

The only thing that will mess up the prediciton is if we go into a prevent defense and Utah scores at the very end of the game.

I haven't decided whether it will be 35-10 or 20-10 yet.

Mine right now is 24-21 BYU, but of course is always amenable until Mike puts up the official predictions thread.

I will change it later cause I think the game is going to be lower scoring than most suspect. Utahs defense is very good and BYU's defense is not getting the respect it deserves by most observers.

You might be right and that is the conventional thinking. However, the conventional thinking is rarely right. I think the Utes have shot their wad.

My gut says BYU wins a close one but a close loss wouldn't surprise me.

BYU 24
Utah 17, but I could also see

Utah 24
BYU 21, with Utah pulling it out in the end due to prevent win defense by Bronco.

The difference will be field position and a FG. Neither our punter or FG kicker instill any confidence that we can win the field position battle or win a close one by kicking a FG.
