I know. I bet this totally doesn't have anything to do with the news about Giuliani yesterday. I bet his camp was totally uninvolved with the finding. Complete coincidence.

I don't see the connection.

the Giuliani camp (or someone who supports him), concerned about the implications of yesterday's news, likely did the research to find out that the Romneys had donated as well. I don't have any support for that, though. This is just my guess.

I don't know about that. That's an awful cynical view of politics.

USA Today and ABC News: guaranteeing that no conservative will ever be under-scrutinized.

What a bunch of hacks. I bet if they wanted to make the effort, they could dig something up about Mrs. Clinton or Obama.

hm. well, I guess I'm still embracing the politics of cynicism.

I don't think the news release is unrelated to the news from yesterday. The news regarding the Giuliani's donation was particularly damaging because of how poorly he handled the issue of abortion in last week's debate. Romney, on the other hand, has come up with the clearest, most consistent statement possible on his feelings and history on the issue.

I find this election cycle fascinating because of the personalities involved. There is no ideal candidate for either party.

Yep. Key word being IF they wanted to. Which they don't.
