1. Hoosiers: Jimmy Chitwood announcing his decision to play again... (Unfortunately I couldn't find this on YouTube)

Rollin: [as Jimmy walks in on the town meeting that determines Coach Dale's fate] What can I do for you, Jimmy?
Jimmy: I got something to say.
Rollin: All right, say what you've gotta say.
Jimmy: [to crowd] I don't know if it'll make any change, but I figure it's time for me to start playin' ball.
George: [as crowd is cheering] I told you, once we got rid of him! [cheers fade]
Jimmy: One other thing... I play, Coach stays. He goes, I go.
George: [crowd starts murmuring] Uhhh, the coach is dismissed by a vote of 48 to 25...
Opal Fleener: I think we should vote again!
Rollin: All those in favor of the coach staying, say 'Aye'
[majority of crowd says 'Aye']
Rollin: All opposed...
[a handful say 'nay', tears up George's tally sheet]
Rollin: ... Coach stays!

2. Karate Kid: Mr. Miyagi fixing Daniel-San's leg with his special massage, then Daniel's girlfriend (Elisabeth Shue) running to tell the ring announcer that Daniel can fight...

Ring announcer: Daniel LaRusso is gonna fight?! Daniel LaRusso is gonna fight!!

I have too many to list to just keep it to 3, but I'll list just a few of mine.

In the original Rocky I love this scene...the night before the fight with Apollo and Rocky just comes back from the arena and tells Adrian that he can't beat Apollo....at the end of that scene he says something to the effect:

"I don't wanna beat him. I just wanna go the distance. No one's ever gone the distance with Creed before. If I can do that, then I'll know that I wasn't just another bum from the neighborhood."

As evidenced my the name I chose on here I grew up loving the Rocky movies and could list lots of favorite scenes throughout those movies...although I would like to strike Rocky V from the record.

I especially love the training scenes in Rocky II....where the kids start running along with him...leading all the way through downtown. At first it's just a few kids,,,pretty soon...hundreds of kid are running behind Rocky and it leads up to the famous steps....I love that scene.

I love the scene in The Natural at the end when Roy Hobbs comes walking back to the plate after just hitting a foul ball down the line and then stops to a slow walk when he notices that his "Wonder Boy" bat is broken.....and then he says to the batboy :"Go pick me a winner Bobby"......"Yes Sir"......the kid go gets his own bat he made with Roy together and hands it to him.....light bulbs flashing...kid grinning from ear to ear (the crescendo of music is growing) and then we know what happens after that...he hits the Homerun......GREAT theater.

I love many scenes in Hoosiers. Too many to recount. Where the team comes out to be introduced before the student body and they begin chanting..."We want Jimmy! We want Jimmy!" Coach Dale comes back out to the microphone..."I would hope that you would cheer who we are,,,,not we are not. This is your team. These boys have decided to make the sacrifice to spend here every day...that kind of dedication and sacrifice demands and earns your respect.......this is your team."

The scene where he measures the rim and the free throw line at the Big Gymnasium and tells his players that "I think you'll find the measurements are the exact same of our gym back home."

I love Rudy...great flick.

Remember the Titans....lots of fun.

The Rookie is a pretty good family/sports flick.

There are many others that I just love. Like I said too many for me to list.
