Default the MVP of this BYU team

goes to Austin Collie. The best BYU receiver in memory, and perhaps of all-time.

It's even more remarkable that he is doing this as a returned missionary.

I hope he can find a place at the next level. Good routes, good hands, smart player, decent speed--seems like there ought to be a place for him somewhere.

But as they say, it's a competitive business.

I think he'll find a spot somewhere in the NFL. He'll just have to work harder and learn to keep his mouth shut. NFL folks won't accept comments like "We just beat ourselves" as a reason for falling short.
