still weighing my vote
This is the 5th presidential election in which I have been a voter. I have yet to cast a vote for the person who won the presidential election (and if you think that means you know for whom I voted each time, you are probably wrong). I had been planning to vote for Obama, but lately I've been starting to think that I don't want my presidential-vote-jinx to rub off on Obama, so maybe I better vote for McCain. I vote in true blue Maryland, so my vote doesn't amount to anything anyway. What do you think?

My concern for the election is that the younger Obama supporters will become so complacent (falsely assuming that an Obama win is assured) that they won't bother to show up. |

Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!! Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith. |
