Default One thing I give credit to the Utes

The crowd, esp. the student section, looked good on TV. It looked like a more intense environment than anything I have seen in LES.

Sadly, I was disappointed to read here on the board this morning 1) lots of empty seats, and 2) people leaving in droves because they thought the Utes were going to lose, and 3) people booing their own team.

But on TV it looked good.

1) Not many empty seats

2) Not as many people left as you think. A good number, but really not that many.

3) Agree. The boobirds were out in full force and it is disgraceful.

The empty seats are a little overstated...nobody that I saw in the North endzone left, so I would be surprised if a lot of people left.

The student section has come a long way from my first year at Utah when you could show up 15 minutes after kick off and get a good seat. It actually was pretty fun to see.

Most of the Ute coeds, however, were ugly.

I know that is not suprising.

#1 best looking coeds in the stands still goes to Washington.

one of the worst things about this conference is the lack of good crowds.

BYU is #1 and has been for a long time. Not because the crowd goes so wild, but because of the numbers.

Utah is #2.

Wyoming is last.

TCU is awful.

Not really familiar with the rest of the teams SDSU, UNLV, New Mexico, CSU, Air Force. On TV, these environments look awful. And the numbers are awful.

Our home games are fairly boring, though. The Utah game is always fun. And if we have a huge name roll into town. On a week-to-week basis, though....very mild crowd.

We are still trying to convince people to wear BYU gear to games.

Air Force usually has a decent crowd and they have all those cadets in uniform which is cool. But you are right most of the crowds in the MWC suck.

I was in the visitors section and the South Endzone emptied in a hurry.

Also it is hard to tell if seats are actually empty because the seats are red (which is a great idea, good job BYU for thinking of it. ) but they did have quite a few empty seats in the corners which I was told is where most of the BYU fans bought their season tickets.

One other thing I do think is lame is all of the gay ass pirate flags.

This is a damning admission. You owe Ute fans an apology for your earlier smear.

That doesnt excuse the fact that your pussy fans were leaving early when your team had the ball down 1 score with 2 minutes left. It also does not excuse your fans for booing your own damn team.
