I have zero cred in the sports categories

That story is yet another magical transformation of a molehill into a mountain.
Maybe that's why there are so many mountains in Utah. Signed, Julie Beck |

"You gotta smile and be happy all the time..."
Since moving here, I've never understood why people say things like that about Utah. There are grouchy a-holes all over the place. Anyone who thinks all Utahns are friendly has obviously never driven on the freeway here. |

I find people in the South to generally have the nicest disposition of anywhere in the US; as long as they don't know you're LDS.

This whole story cracks me up. It probably belongs in the 'pro sports' forum.

No, but Texas isn't Mississippi either. I'm sure there are worse places than DFW. I imagine the rural areas are worse. Heck, I remember a lot of crap from non LDS and inactive LDS just being active LDS growing up in Salt Lake Valley. At Alta HS where maybe a quarter of the student body is active LDS it wasn't exactly cool to be in that group.
