Default Dave Z. to team slipstream?

The Boston Globe has reported the rumor.

Here is the Slipstream site.

I believe that Miller is thinking of joining this same team.

Not trying to be funny but youmean David Millar, correct?

Zabirsikie didn't exactly show well this year at the tour. He was sour, didn't ride that well, and then missed a time cut. Disappointing.

Yes Millar. Z acted like he didn't want to be there. Tough race if your minds not right.

Come on - lets give Z. the benefit of he doubt. He says it was the mandatory shoe change that tweaked his knee, so I'll believe him.

That plus he didn't look like he wanted to be there.

I hadn't heard of slipstream yet, that's a great platform. I hope they are able to make it work and who knows maybe they'll be a wildcard team soon.

I guess Slipstream has a reputation as being over the top anti-doping.

That will be good for the sport. They can set up an unclean branch, and a clean branch.

Slipstream is the brainchild of Jonathan Vaughters. You may recall him from a few years ago as the guy who was stung by bees during the Tour and, due to anti-doping regulations, could nto take any medications (no cortisone is allowed during the race) and, becasue he is allergic to bee stings, his face swelled up like a puffer fiush and he had to drop out fo the race. He is a very good guy and I hope he pulls this off with real success and not just as a drug free but ultimately unsuccessful curiosuity.
