Glavine tossed overboard
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=4228623
Glavine is the one remaining link to the time that I loved baseball. I was a Braves fan, a long time ago, when Dale Murphy still played for them. So from the early 80s til about '92, I watched a lot of Braves baseball. I even saw Glavine pitch at an Astros game (I didn't get to the ballpark much). Man, there were some miserable years there with the Braves. They were TERRIBLE. But that is part of being a fan. You know that when all the players of your youth are gone, you are getting old. |

Well Mike, unlike me, there are still players that are your age who are productive. The up and comers are young enough to be my kids.
That's a true sign of age.
