I do not mean to be unduly harsh and or to suggest that you are doing nothing more than sitting around waiting to be directed.

I have served in the position of athority in a Ward that could call the Ward to action. Understand that your Bishop may not see this as a missed opportunity because from his perspective he may only be seeing what the church is doing.

I recommend you go to him with a plan ... something like I'm headed to the Astro Dome, I have five empty seats in the van will you come with me and may I invite 4 other priesthood holders to joins us.
