How conservative feel about a powerful LIBERAL with fanatical ideals who happens to be a woman. Her alleged female gender plays no role in this.
Conservatives love Margaret Thatcher and like Condy Rice. A powerful liberal will always draw the ire of conservatives. Kennedy is NOT a woman, at least not from distant view of the behemoth, and is detested by conservatives as well.
