So is this one of those clubs that only reads church related books?

My wife organized a book club with the strong recommendation that they would not read church related books ... all of the woman agreed and the club has been a huge success.

Many husbands (I was not jealous, only happy to see my wife get out of the house and away from the yard apes) became very jealous and decided to organize their own book club.

The club started off great, the first selection was the Adventures of Cavalier and Clay (very good book) 800 pages later and at our first meeting I discovered I and one other fellow were the only two to read it … in came the strong recommendation to read church books!

The wives continue to meet and have a great time reading great books. The men no longer read books and meet periodically to play video games.

I am wary of book clubs … especially those that mostly read church related books. Besides I am working on my MFA and all of my time is now spent reading Art history articles Weeeeeeeee!
