We need to leave Afghanistan
And we also need to abandon all rebuilding efforts. There never was anything to rebuild.
We need to do what George Will recommended. Exert force (i.e. death from a distance). Through bombing, cruise missiles, drones, and the occasional strike force as necessary.
Who is most likely to keep us in Afghanistan? The GOP. Unfortunately.
Liberalizing Afghanistan so that they don't kill their own women and children is a fool's errand. Makes me sad to say.
