Henri and Francis Pelissier
In Johan Bruyneel's new book he talks a little about drug use and told this story.
In 1911 the brothers Henri and Francis Pelissier pulled out a flask and showed it to journalist Albert Londres, telling him it was a cocaine mixture. "We keep going on dynamite," Henri told the reporter. "In the evenings, we dance around our rooms instead of sleeping."
I guess nothing better then a little cocaine to get a person ready for a bike race.
