My comments serve to bolster his ideas in contrast, not opposition, to your ideas.
IMO it is important to pull back to the broader generalizations when a discussion descends into narrow pathways ... that is how I have engaged what you wrote -by reading, paying attention and enjoying what each person is saying with an eye towards the big picture initially presented.
