At least we were kissing and holding hands. Thanks everyone for their input. But now she received a lateral offer to move from Philly to Long Beach, and the pay is better. She hasn't accepted, but given that we're not even exclusive yet, she has little incentive to stay.
She was very, very affectionate, so I experienced the deep intimacy I've been craving for a long time. Back to the drawing board, most likely.
