Jonathan Tavernari was completely exposed tonight. The two shots he did make one was from about 5 feet behind the NBA line and hit the rim, then the backboard then bounced in, the other one he had a man right in his face and it was also from NBA range. He really struggled, I give MSU a lot of credit for playing tough man to man D on him all game long and not letting him get his shot off.

Also MSUs big three down low worked tirelessly on Plaisted, they were very chippy with him and did a nice job of dislodging him and keeping him further way from the basket than he would have liked.

Biggest play of the game was when BYU was up 1, Plaisted gets a huge block, the crowd is loud on its feet and Murdock gets picked in the open court and gives up a huge layup.
