Seems appropriate for this team that a bad play by a senior who should have known better cost them the game. Zylstra's needless purposeful foul with about 40 seconds left, down by 3.
Zylstra didn't shoot well, and I think that was the difference in this game. They needed some additional production and didn't get it.
Couldn't keep Pierre Jackson from doing anything he wanted. Davies had a good game (still frustrated by his dumb fouls). And all things considered Tyler Haws had a good game. Matt Carlino didn't come alive until the 2nd half. If he had shot better earlier in the game, would have made a difference.
Safe to say that 14 loss Baylor that struggled in the Big 12 is better than BYU. They have proven it in 2 games.
Still don't know why Anson Winder is glued to the bench.
